Today’s ‘Volunteer of the Day’ is Exemplary Service Award (20 Years) recipient … Michael Spooner (Tigers JFC: Vice-Chairman, Kit Secretary [1999-]): Michael has been a very important member of Tigers JFC and is always putting the name of the club first. He helps out with the running of the club and has been Vice-Chairman for the last 15 years, along with being the Kit Secretary prior to this.

Michael still holds this position, making sure all the equipment and kit are in a safe and tidy condition for the club to run as smoothly as possible. He joined with his son, Thomas, as Assistant Manager to Keith Di Palma in one of the youth squads when his road into grassroots started and has been a loyal servant to the club for 21 years. Thank you, Michael!
