On Sunday 22nd September Tigers JFC made massive steps forward in becoming a family orientated club by opening up the club house at Bretons Outdoor Centre in partnership with The Bretons Manor Association. On arrival all supporters of the club were given complimentary scarves, flags and pin badges to celebrate the occasion. The club house will be open most Sundays throughout the season to all Tigers teams families (prior bookings before we signed the deal with the association have to be honoured)
This whole venture has taken a while to but we finally have somewhere we can call home where we can unwind after the games, have a chat and be more of a community club again with that special family touch. This was plain to see on Sunday where we had several different Tigers teams players mingling together playing football out on the fields and in general having a great time.
Also on Sunday mornings via the rear entrance of the Manor House by the Tigers green changing area we have agreed that there are Teas, Coffees, bacon rolls and burgers being made in the garden area at reasonable prices. This will soon be available on Saturdays as well when you all need that warm drink and snack when the cold and wet weather starts.
Massive thanks goes to all the hard work the committee have done in getting the club to where we are but we have more things in the pipeline that will make Tigers JFC truly a club parents will want their children to be at.
Please drop in and have a drink and a chat whenever you are over at Bretons as there will always be a committee member who can tell you any information you may want to know.
